ok so heres a basic outline of what im doing ( i live in nottingham ukbear that in mind when ideas of where to get things.)
i have 2 tansk side by side that are soon to be connected b a bridge.
im currently cycling my filters in another tank so im hopeing to have all this done by the end of the week
for one tank i plan on using sand and the other gravel
in the sand tank i going to have a largish peice of bogwood and a single slate covered in rica for the grass effect
in the gravel tank im going to have alot of potted plants some large rocks and a cave
nwo what im in need of from you folks is good ideas/places to find
sand
ricca ( gonna ebay i think)
drill bit paint stirrer ( to mix up the sand in bucket so i don't have to use hand like last time)
heater cover. ( gonna be using one heater from a juwel built in system)
bog wood ( saw some on ebay i may buy)
gravel
silicone safe for tanks. ( brought some for 18 pound last time not doing that again)
posibly some slate ( allthough some fell of the roof in last storm so posibly wont need any) ( and who says the roof falling off is a bad thing....)
potted plants ( local lfs and ebay)
some extra things i still need / want for the project are
90 degree pipe elbows about 100mm id ( to go with the clear tubing from ebay)
3 sets of cold cathodes ( more than likly gonna buy form ebay.)
extra long piping for a Hydor Prime 10 external filter ( still not arrived yet unsure what size piping)
a full water test kit ( mines running out)
a drill bit with 100 od.
2 lightbulbs not sure what size
i just realy want a few ideas/ sugestions /places to get things
ive serched the internet and im struggling to find what i need any help is awesome
i also want some rare live bearing fry/juvies
anyhelp is welcome.
