Two Platies Fighting Or Pecking

within last week and this week i have notice two males have been ramming and knocking each other, but the best part that they are always together and if the red male get to close to the clear male platy the clear one will attack. All to day i have been trying to take the clear one out of the tank to take to the LFS but with my luck in catching it but it's getting back. the red platy when near the other all his fins clamp down but still get to close and he get a bashing. but when they are not together the red platy as all fins out and happily playing, not hiding and always on the move. So i realy don't know what to do for the best? would getting another male put a stop to this or will it be a on going thing? I do feel sorry for the red platy.

In tank:
Four Platies 2 males and 2 female ( I know it should be 1 male to 2 female)

28 gallon tank
Filter Aqua-Flow 2

ammonia : 0

nitrite : 0

nitrate : 15

ph : 8.0

forget getting another male that will only add to the problem but a female or 2 should help

I don't want any more fry in tank so thinking for keeping all males or females.

Maybe you could take your females back and pick up a few more males to spread the aggression around a bit.
