Tuffa Rocks - Green Algae - How To Get Rid Of?

Lucky me found around 8 nice pieces of tuffa rock in the garden. I've pressure washed them and boiled the only one that will fit in the pan but where it was above ground it's still got green algae colouring on it. Is there any way of getting rid of the staining and if I can't is it safe to use or not? Thanks.

You could try soaking it in 1 part bleach to 10 parts water, and then rinse rinse rinse. However, as long as you cleaned it well, I wouldn't worry.

Thanks I will try that as it would be a shame not to use them now.
