I love the pic of the white wolf, he's gorgeous! The vulture (at least I think it's a vulture) looks scary

and thanks naughtygirl , Yep, thats a white wolf, sadly he was all alone in his enclosure and the vultures were scary but gorgeous and not scared of anybody. that vulture was only a few inches away from me. Wasn't tempted to put my fingers in the cage though- funnily enough

Can you beleive i took these photos with my new camera phone, i've no need for a seperate camera now!!

Lovely pictures =) I noticed that most wolfs in dutch zoos are on their own for some reason. Guess we've realised we don't have enough room for a pack, yet don't want to give up keeping wolfs completely.

Hope you had a good time, though you definatly went to one of the worst zoos in Holland IMO
If you're still in Holland, or maybe if you go again one day, check out the zoo in Arnhem, called Burgers Zoo, it's much superb.

In the past i've been to arnhem zoo... that was fantastic with their mini rainforest and huge animal enclosures. I had to admit that i thought artis zoo was better than rotterdam zoo and they were both better than dudley zoo in Britain!! But have to admit i prefer safari parks to zoos and i'd prefer to see them in wild than anywhere but these zoos do lot a lot of conservation work and education so i can't say i hate them!!

Are you mad?! We've been melting! First heat wave of the year has actually been predicted for next week. Been an average of around 27C. Maybe not all that hot for you, but definatly not cold!
