Hello.

I noticed today when I was changing the water that there were a lot of tiny little spider looking things clinging to one of my plants. Does anyone have any idea what these are? They look like little ticks. Didn't think this was an emergency...but if they're bad, it will be as there are about 20-30 of these things in there. I would include a picture, but they're so small there's no way I could capture them.

Thanks for your help.

Yeah, ive had them before, they look orange ish. I cant get rid of em, but my fish pic at them. They havent caused any probs yet, but im tryin to get them out.

They came after i introduced a plant.

Goodluck

Some ideas: Take the infected plant out and rinse it off really well under room-temp water. Use the pressure of the tap stream to push all the nasty critters away. If that doesn't work, I'd dip the plant in a 20% bleach solution for about a half a minute. Rinse the plant off with tap and monitor the plant in a bucket for a day or two. Hope this helps.
