Tinfoil Barb Vs Other Fish At Feeding Time

I have three 4inch Tinfoil Barbs and they are eating everything in sight. I have Intrduced a Pleco and I am having a problem trying to get the algae wafers to him. I am starting to worry about over feeding as I put a good pinch of flake twice a day along with a few tablets for bottom feeders and the algae wafers. The problem beeing the Tinfoils eat it all.

Is there any tips to help the bootom feeders and will the Pleco be okay with just the algae. I no longer have live plants as they destroyed them also. Will this also reduce the algae with only plastic plants?

I'm afraid the bigger your tinfoil barbs get the bigger your problems are going to get, there is litterally nothing they wont eat and the bigger they get the more they need to eat, i got rid of my tinfoil barbs when one of them ripped a shovelnose catfishes gill cover off trying to get to the food in its mouth.

The only fish that can be kept with tinfoil barbs are ones that are equally fast and geedy as them, other large barbs and large central American Cichlids are the ones i'd recomend.
