I went over to Walsoken aquatics yesterday just for a mooch. Luckily it wasn't busy (half day closing in town). I ended up spending an hour in there chatting with the owners, joking etc. He dragged step ladders around for me (short arse) to climb to look at fish in the top tanks, discussed fish and what I could get in the future. He got some books and we pored over them, talked about plants. He showed me a large tank with some kind of cichlids in which had lots of tiny babies and discussed cichlids for my next tank. He said that if I wanted anything in particular, just let them know and he would order it for me. I bought some more food, some frozen food, bogwood and moss balls and a few plants and he even gave me a small discount. He said that if I ordered anything, he would ring me up to tell me when it came in so that I didn't come all that way on the off chance. So here is a massive big thumbs and toes up for Walsoken aquatics.
We actually ended up talking about chickens and me offerring advice to one of the other owners who wanted to start keeping chickens
They are all very very knowledgeable and have a fantastic range of 'stuff', equipment, rocks, and all kinds of wonderful things. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
