this ain't no shcrimp

hi all-
a while back i bought a few different kinds of fresh water shrimp(6 total/one died)since then they have grown alot but there is this one that has grown 1 big claw(he looks like lobster)the reason i'm so concerned is last night after i dropped in a few pcs of algea wafers i noticed that this "shrimp"got hold of a wafer in 1 small claw and waved it around til one of my fish got near it then he tried to grab'em w/the big claw,he did this for about an hour.i have 1 or 2 bad pics of it i'll try and post it.can it be some other kind of lobster?he looks nothing like the glass shrimp.

I have heard that the everyday glass shrimp that most use as feeders become quite visious as the males get older. They do seem to grow one claw that is bigger than the others. Without a pic it is really hard to tell if it is a crayfish or lobster or shrimp. But there are much more dangerous shimp. Try searching for Camaroon Armourd Shrimp, or look in the member pics section.

Isolate him if you can Mos, he may be a territorially dominant male, the claw he has grown he waves around to excite the ladies. His 'nipping' at other fish may be him reinforcing his territory in some way. How big has he grown to? Don't Glass Shrimp only get to 1.5" or so?

shoot!! sorry guy's i forgot i posted this,
gibbo-he's grown very very fast he's over 2"s now easy,(has grown over an inch in less that a month)i did however manage to get him out.
