Thinking Of Changing My Gravel

well i am think of changing my blue gravel for either black or natural so maybe you could help me decide, so if you could post some pictures that would be great and post which you prefer.
oh and does black gravel bring out the colour in the fish more?

A black background and black gravel will naturally bring out your fishes colours... I, personally, prefer to use sand or, as I have two planted tanks, I use a nutrient-rich substrate.

I wanted to buy that fine black gravel when setting up my tank but I think lighter/natural looked much better so I decided to get silver sand instead.
Look at some pictures of tanks with different coloured gravel/sand in and see if you really want it in your tank.
Black will probably will bring the colour of the fish out more.

Have got fine black gravel in my tanks - you can see some (now old) pics here http/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showto...023&hl=KimA - the 30L tank now has black sand in it for the Corys as they love to dig in it.
