Think I Have Ich

Quite a few of my fish have small white spots on them like grains of salt? From what i read this is ich?

I have rasied the temp to 30

What do i do now? I have a filter with carbon in it and gravel sub.?

what meds should i get tommow? (UK)

How should I be cleaning the tank?

Increase aeration with the high temp and med.
Read med instructions carefully that you can use the full dose with the fish you keep.
Remove black carbon from the filter.

Just back from late opening lfs Picked up King British WS3

Water temp is slowy comming up

Cleaned the gravel a bit (water change). Took carbon Filter out and meded the water.

Light is off.

What is the best way to increae aeration ?

Hmm aiming the fliter hose towards the surface? small waves or ripples?

You need to aim for a good current at the top of the tank so the water ripples well.

How should I be feeding at this time?

Also does the light realy have to be off? Just planted some plants

Only need tank lights out if you use m green parasite med.
Follow the meds instructions.
Feed sparingly.

Spots are falling off the fish. Some are really cleared up and some fish are more active.
MY Beta seems very poorly though and still covered but not as bad
My honey has almost complete Cleared up and he was covered in ich. Must be going into second stage.
No dead fish yet I do a water change tonight and have to redose the med per instructions

Ok All my fish have cleared up. But my beta is still complete covered all over his fins ect?

Should I remove him from the main tank and into a smaller med tank?

Yes move the betta if you want, but I would still treat the main tank for another week to make sure the parasite has gone.
