Theres Something Wrong With My Green Severum

my green severum is going crazy he keeps fluttering his fins quickley then rubbing his sides on
anything he can find i dont think its whitespot but there is actualy 2 white marks on on e of his fins
help me plz

I've read where that can be a sign of an internal parasite. Especially if it has white stringy poop too. It's somewhere to start looking at least. Good luck, I used to have a Sev, they're awesome fish.

i hate to ask this, but added anything new to the tank in the last week or so?

nope nothing new but i cant take it back if its like this can i they wont accept it

melafix is worth a go, thats what i would do, good luck
oh, and water changes can do no harm as long as the water has been dechlorinated first

a fish scratching and itching can be due to a few things, namely a parasite or unsuitable water conditions.
when did you last check your ammonia and nitrite levels, ph and nitrates?

how often do you do water changes and how much?

if you are seeing some white specks then white spot it could be. once you are deffinite it is that then raise the temp to 80 f add some extra air and get a treatment.
