should i have a red tailed shark in my tank,i currently have.
1 pleco
9 neon tetras
5 rumy nosed tetras
3 cat fish 2 of which are corydoras
2 wheather loach
2 large kissers
2 miniture goriamis
4 black widows
i am just wondering if it is save to keep the red tail with these fish,he does seem to chase them alot, but he does seem to single out the big pink kisser that we have.the tank is 35G so i dont think that this is in anyway over crowded or maybe im wrong maybe it is to many.but it looks like there is hardly nothing in the tank.

From what i know since i researched on getting rts my self, your community is too passive for it to work. From what i read it needs to be with fish that are either tougher and more aggressive or semi-agressive.

what type of pleco depending on what type it is it could need a larger tank, also your kissing gouramis need a larger tank as they grow large, and you will stump their growth having a terrile effect on their health

mine is awesome, my favourite. but he batters everyone, luckily they all give as good as they get. i dont think small tetras would stand a chance. mine is only a baby but already has a serious attitude problem!

Mine is only a baby and he herds 6 tiger barbs into a corner and wont let them move and there twice the size of him!!

My red-tailed black shark has only become more aggressive since I lost my Angels, perhaps he now feels like he rules the roost.

I would suggest maybe a ruby shark. They are basically the same as RTBS, with very similar markings but tend to be a tiny tiny teeny tiny bit less aggressive. You could have a RTBS in your tank providing there is enough room and plenty of places to hide.
