I don't have a fool proof system set up yet, and I find I continually over flow my shrimp tanks, I start a top off or water change, on those 10 gallon tanks, and because they fill so slowly, I begin doing something else, and the next thing, I see the floor is wet.... in extreme forgetfulness, my rugs get wet, but typically it's just the concrete floor in my work area that gets wet... I'm going to have to start setting a timer...
on adding back hard water to my soft water RO tanks, 30 seconds per tank is plenty, and I don't have a problem maintaining focus for that long... where it bites me, is on water changes for the 10 gallon tanks, where it may take 10 minutes to fill 1/3 of the tank... 1/4 inch lines were not ideal, but I already had everything here, to run the individual fill lines, and they do work... I just need to start using a timer... too many things to look at, to maintain my focus for that long...
