 today i bought tetramedica general tonic as bettafin i couldnt find anywhere as to help heal my betta (Ichigo) tail problem. Bt after about 2 hrs he starts layin all ova nd nt reacting wen i tap on the tank. So i did a full water change nd now he looks better but is tryin 2 get 2 the heater wher he jst lays and looks dead. Il b gettn a bigger tank this wknd. Wil post the pics of him later or 2mor when he freaked me out. If any1 cn shed light on this issue it would b appreciated. Nd the tank is bare at the moment. Has heater nd airstone no filtrations as ther are none avail 4 a small tank like mine so water changes r done regularly nw. Thnx

Got no idea about Tetramedica  But could you not type out words in full instead of using "MSN" talk please

Am i still doing the shorthand thing??darn... Tetra general tonic...thats giving it a wider berth. It says on the bottle 'treatment of the most common fish diseases such as parasites, bacterial infections such as finrot (thats why i bought it!), fish fungus, and wounds. Broad impact safe for all fish' but ichigo went all lazy and dead-like after 2hrs with that stuff in the water. What would i have to give him to heal his fins?

Not sure what you can get in South Africa?? We use Melafix :good: Try PM'ing "ludvig ventor", he's in South Africa and has kept fish for years :good:

If the fins are simply damaged then simply keep the water as clean as possible and it should cure itself, The tetra general tonic is basicly a simple broad spectrum treatment and so wouldn't hurt,
