Teeing Off An Air Pump For 2 Outlets....

Im looking at getting one or two airstones in my tank, is there any problems with 'teeing' off the one pipe to output to two, or is 2 not necessary?

It will solely be for aerating the tank, thought I could have 2 airstones, one either side?

I've had 1 air pump running 3 different tanks before.... there was no trouble.

It was only a small pump too, ($20 at walmart) and it ran 4 small airstones and a disk with no trouble, i even opened one of the valves a little to let off the pressure because it was too much...

You will need a gang valve ( 2 or 3) to make the air split even. An extra outlet for excess air is also helpfull. Don T.
