Hi, can i use put hot water into my tank to boost the temperature?

What temp. is your water now? You don't want it to change too drastically too fast.

I've read on here many times that a good way to gently warm a cool tank in an emergency is to fill a plastic bottle with hot water, close it tightly and submerge it in the tank, I've never tried it but it sounds like good advice.

Be careful, though.
Dont use warm water from the tap.
Apparently there's copper in it.
