Ill be getting a larger tank (most likely a 55 gallon)...

I was wondering about my gravel. I allready have gravel from my 30gallon, but the thing is it has had nematodes...
Should I use the gravel I allready have with some new, or just buy new gravel completely?

If nematodes are harmful, which I'm guessing they are, either dry it out or boil it, easy peasy lemon squizy

...what the hell does that mean?!

What nematodes?

These little, hair thin worms. And they spread fast. I first found them on the glass of the tank, then floating free in the water, then in the gravel.
The feed on the fish waste and the food that falls in the gravel.
And they are harmless as far as I know, but I dont want them, but who does!

Oh I had them at oen point lol, just do a few water changes when you can cleaning up all waste, and sucking them up, they'll starv and die.Little white hair thick things are they not?

Yep, thats them.
Well, Ill empty the gravel and let it dry and buy new gravel to go with it.
Also, How do you mean boil?

Sorry tiredness seeping through...
If you put the gravel in a bucket, get something suitable to stir it with and add boiling water...It'll kill the nasties.
