I have a 65 gallon acrylic tank. The water level appears to be about 1/4 - 1/2 inch higher on one side. I know this is a big problem w/ glass tanks, but will this be a problem w/ an acrylic tank? I plan to level it but it may be about a week until I can get to it.

Thanks

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,HUGE PROBLEM,IF ITS LEFT LIKE THAT ONE SIDE COULD CRACK, LEVEL IT IMMEDIATLY

Yeah I would try and level it out as quickly as you can. That being said however one of my glass 40g tanks was about a 1/2 inch lower on the left side and was running for years with no problems.

I have read that acrylic is very forgiving when it comes to not being level. It was level when I installed it, but I guess the floor or carpet settled under it.

I have no idea how to level it other than move it somewhere else (and that is not an option). I would try to level the stand, but I would think that that would also be unstable since it would put more stress on the rest of the stand.

I gotta come up w/ a solution. You can't tell it isn't level when the canopy is on it.

You should probably fix it if you can but my glass 65gal tank has been running for 20 months and is as uneven as yours. I have had no problems yet although when the loaches started clicking I was a bit nervous until I realised it was them!
