Substrate Or Not?

i am thinking of setting up my tanks with no substrate, eg rocks ect, just for my tanks that i sell fish in so i can keep them mutch cleaner and dont have to put up with it more mess and can clean them easyer,grrr what do u guys think? should i use a substrate on the tanks i am selling fish from or not?

On fish that like substrate, ie corys etc, I'd use it. And fish that like plants, rocks the same.

I keep all my breeder tanks bare bottom, makes things a lot easier and some fry can get caught in gravel. Sponge filter and heater and thats all you need.

keep it as simple as possible. i have my angel breeding tank with nothing but a sponge filter and a heater. this way it is easy to clean and maintain.
