Stuff Growing On The Suckers?

Hi i have had my tank going for about 4 weeks now only lost two fish!! few!!!! but i have this stuff that keeps appearing oin the suction cups of my heater!!! Do i remove it or keeps and let it grow? not sure what it is!! Its a thin film of something!! the fish dont go for it when i dilodge it and then remove it but not sure if its doing a good job or a bad job!!

I would remove it, its probably algae or limescale of some sort- both, if they grow all over the heater, can prevent it from accurately reading the tank temp.

Also make sure that your filter is working efficiently or else lots of bits get stuck to things when floating around the tank and not getting sucked up through the filter.
