Strange Death

hey everyone

Just had a quick look in my tank to see one of my catfish trying to swim along the bottom of the tank, he was on his side and really didnt look very happy. Had a closer look and both of his eyes were missing

I put him into my breeding net to keep him away from other fish, and within 10 minutes, he was dead

Anyone know what could have caused this? He was very healthy, and never seemed to get any trouble from other fish. He lived with tetras, guppies and a pair of rams.

Poor Fish. Sorry for your loss.

Could he have got stuck anywhere and injured himself struggling to get free? Of could he have been ill first and then the other fish um... eaten his eyes? (If they thought he was dead/dying they may have) How old was he? Could old age have got him first and then the fish?

have you done your tests to check the water, mines began doing that as well but it affected all my fish.
