i dont know if you have read my other posts about my mystery damaged fish,

because of the damage on one of the skirted tetras, i kept him in a breeding enclosure as i didnt want other fish attacking him,

i then watched the other skirted tetra nosing the enclosure, i wondered if he would be ok if i released him,

the two tetras then started darting about with each other, not biting but barging and going head on with each other,
any idea to what could be happening between these two, they have been with each other for nearly a year now???

thanks,

lee

I love 'skirts' and have kept them for years. In my opinion they are a bit like angels they like to be in a school and they are a bit hyper. If you have only three the stronger two gang up on the weaker one. In any size school of skirts they are very aware of weakness and the stronger fish will harrass the weak one. You might want to isolate the one being beat up for a few days and re introduce it at night when the lights are off. Good Luck. Scott
