It was not a good night out trying to get lightning shots. Here's my best one out of two hole shots I got in about an hour.

Spectacular!!! Lightning is incredibly hard to photograph, most people wouldn't even have a shot like that in years.

Wow... very nice.

I've been waiting for one of those nights where there are lightning strikes all over the place so I could leave my camera in a fixed spot and just leave the shutter open for a while (I'm guessing that's how you got your shot). Catching 2 or 3 strikes in the same shot could end up being an amazing picture. Unfortunately I haven't really seen any lightning ever since I got my camera over a year ago... figures.

wow you got my eyes on that pic.! i really love thunder storms! its like i can live my life with summer and thunder storms! that picture is amzin gecko, it really is, i wish i can get a shot like that one of these days... whoa, what a great idea i'll do that the next thunder storm, i'll give it a try! its worth it! thnk you a million for sharing that! i love it

I tried some lightning shot years ago with film. It gets expense when all you have is a black sky picture. Now with digital, you can click away.
