Stocking Question

Kribensis and blue rams in a 40 gal. tank good or bad idea? and could i add plants or will they get messed up?

It's working out for me, but I've only kept mine for a little over a month and in a 60g. Depends on how many you'll keep I guess. So far, mine haven't touched the plants.
