Stocking Options

well im looking for stocking options to go in a new 40 gal. tank i am looking for somewhat aggressive fish lots of movement and character but are compatible with a striped raphel catfish and rhino pleco. I know options are limited but i need some ideas.

Dwarf gouramis are neat, they stay pretty active, live a good while, are pretty compact, and if you look around u can find a few bad tempered ones.
