okay so basically i've got an idea of what i want in my tank but was thinking on wht u guys would have.....

so far i have

5 Zebra Danio
5 Black Mollies
3 Swordtails

and was thinking of getting......

12 Cardinal Tetra
6 Guppys
And A Plec

Looking for some fish that stay at top middle and bottom....

its a Sand aquarium and there is some pics in my sig.....

an oscar... are u crazy?! DO NOT ADD AN OSCAR TO THAT TANK! Even if it would be peacful towards your other fish (which it won't) it would outgrow that tank within a matter of months if not weeks! Panda Corries need to shoal so their out too and Rainbow fish can be kept single, however I'm pretty sure (not 100%) that they like shoals aswell...

It's hard to say really what you should get because you have livebearers and you must take into account that they will more than likely breed and your tank will get overstocked... 15cardinals is a bit much for a 26.5gallon tank... Mabye 10 of them, I'd also say get 5 more Zebra Danios as they are healthier and happier in larger shoals... Definatly get something for the bottom of the tank, Cory cats are nice but I'd say get a few (3) Kuhli loaches...

12 tetras cos they are shoaling fish and 12 is even 15 is alot and 8 is too little imo

12 would be okay... as you can see I'm well aware they're shoaling fish which is why I suggested 10 only...

Cardinals are a good choice over neon tetra more hardly and don't have to worry about ntd.
Guppys had no luck with them beautiful fish but prone to everything.
Harlequins are al lovely shoaling fish.
Prefer corys over plecs lovely sweet fish and entertaining, plecs not had much luck with them either.

so say i take the plec out and get some corys how many u recommend ?

atleast 3, if not 5... Panda corys are a pygmy species so they'd be good to have 5 of :good:

I'd agree with 3-5 cories. I have them and they are sweet, entertaining fish. Nice name by the way. LOL

Okay so now i'm thinking

5 x Panda Cory
5 x Zebra Danio
5 x Black Mollies
2 x Male guppy
4 x Female Guppy
12 x Cardinal Tetra
1 x Male Swordtail
2 x Female Swordtail

= 151cm Of 172cm According To Thinkfish.Com Community Tank Creator.....

Does That Sound Good ?

Sounds good, however add 5 more Zebra danios as they enjoy shoaling...
