Starting To Cycle Tank Not Getting Any Amonia Readings

I started to cycle my tank on tuesday adding fish food and live plants its a vision 180. But I am still not getting any amonia readings. I am using the nutrafin test kit.

But I noticed today a little planaria worm, so how come I have them in the tank and no amonia results

Also when I add salt to make it brackish will that rid me of the worm?

Tell a lie, just noticed that I have a faint amonia reading of about 1, so its starting to work, what about the worm though?
