Don't have a testing kit at the moment. Oops!

tank temp: 87

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):

Came home after being away for a few hours. Fish were all perfectly happy when I left. 1 Australian Rainbow Fish is out of control spiral erratic swimming. Looks fine apart from this. All other fish seem normal.

Volume and Frequency of water changes:

I do weekly 25% or perhaps slightly less water changes.

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank:

Small amount of aquarium salt. About 1 1/2 cup fulls.

Tank inhabitants:

5 clown loaches. 5 tiger barbs. 1 plec. 6 platys. 5 rainbow fish.

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration):

None.

Exposure to chemicals:

Recent battle with ick. Used Maricide according to directions. Seems to have beaten it. But now.....

Digital photo (include if possible):

Immediate water change as the systoms they are showing can point to bad water quality.
take a sample of your water to the lfs and ask them to write the readings down for you.

Why salt?

I've never needed salt and I wouldn't have thought your current stock would benefit from having that amount of salt added to their water :/

The tank temp is too high, drop it to 80, do a 50% water change, get the water tested, how long has the tank been set up? The ich medication could have knocked out some beneficial bacteria.

From what I gather from the post, the treatment has finished and even when treating, I wouldnt put the temp up that much, but thats just me, rainbows will not do well in that temp for long periods of time.
