One of my cories seem to be struggling with what seems like sore scales. The other day there was quite a bit of fungus on one of her sides but this seems to have reduced but still it looks quite red and sore around both her sides near her belly, her scales seem to be protruding quite a bit. I've treated the tank with medical today. She's very lethagic but still eating. She even keeled over on her side last night but then seem to swim off and has been ok afterwards. No one fish seems to have a problem. Could this be an internal problem?

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
She has a bad bacterial infection.
Once scales stick out organ failure.
There not much to be done now sounds like she has septicemia on top of dropsy.
I would issolate the fish, and do a water change on your tank, as septicemia can leak from the fish into the tank.
