Fish Symptoms: Noticed one of my Galaxy Rasbora's sitting at the front of the tank this morning, which isn't normal at all. Went to go and do a spot of 'gardening' in the tank and noticed that the fish was being really slow at swimming and moving more in the flow of the water than normal movement. Sat and watched it for ten minutes and it moved to the top of the water at the back of the tank and just sat there :( Took some pictures and it started resting on top of the Bogwood. Not right for the fish that never stop moving.

Volume and Frequency of water changes: around 50% every week

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: not sure what this means but i dose plant ferts pretty much every day

Tank inhabitants: 5 galaxy rasbora's, a betta, 2 apple snails and 5 shrimp - worried my Betta is going to bully this fish now it isnt moving fast :(

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): none

Exposure to chemicals: none

Digital photo (include if possible):

Any advice would be appreciated. I think its going to die :(

I have just seperated the fish. It didn't even swim away from the net. My Betta has taken some interest in the fish now that its not moving so much, and the other Rasbora's are dancing with each other all day long and they push it around too much.
It looks really skinny compared to the other fish and settles on leaves and wood a lot.

Possibly going to an LFS so if anybody can tell me of something i should pick up whilst im there itll be helpful. I have no idea :(

ETA: the white spot on it seems to have gone

Seemed a bit more active so i ended up moving it to the new tank with the other fish :/
It looks almost fuzzy on the top, or its getting that thin i can see its spine

Comparison pic - left is one of the normal ones, right is the wierd one

I am pretty sure after looking at the pics in the first post that its getting more curvature in the spine

anyone??

i thought it was getting thin so ive been trying to over feed so that it can get some food :( It either isn't interested in eating or just keeps spitting the food out

What are you feeding? Dry or Live foods?

Try some chopped up blood worms, black worms or chopped brine shrimp, is the food you're feeding it too big?

I feed different things on different days. I have micro wafers, which are still too big for the fish so i crush them up and the fish eat the super small particles, and i also feed frozen/thawed brine shrimp and daphnia. The others do alright.

Tempted to pick up a breeding trap when i go to the shop and see if i can feed it in there, what do u recon?

how is that  They're less than a mm round, these fish must be tiny! try grinding them up in a mortar and pestle.

haha the tetra's can eat a pellet whole, but the rasbora's try and it doesnt even fit into their mouths! I grind them up and they pick up the crumbs. Brine shrimp are like monsters for them so i try mash them up smaller too
