Something On My Yankee Candle Lid

I noticed this on the underside of my yankee candle lid. Is it just the wax or something growing on it do you think?

Tha candle is Jack Frost. Maybe it's frost!!

My mams candle is sort of like that, but not as bad, it is probably just wax that evaporates, do you put the lid straight back on after you blow it out?
