Miss Wiggle
Practically perfect in every way
well Ian had an enforced day off yesterday so I took the day off too, decided to go visit tropical world. it's just down the road from us and only 3 quid to get in, not expecting much of it but thought it's pass a few hrs, was really cool actually. sort of like a mini slightly naff version of the eden project!
had rain forest bits, and swamp bits, fishy bits, lizards and stuff, was pretty cool. took some pics i thought i'd share
walked past a bit of roundhay park before going in and saw this little fella sat nibbling on some nuts, was very cute
in the rain forest bit they had big ponds with enormous koi in them, loads of little fish swimming around them, took us a minute to twig that they were malawi's!! now i'm sure there's all sorts wrong with having them together but we didn't see a single poorly looking fish so it can't be that awful!
cool flowers
terrapin/turtle things
really beautiful lizard
check out the massive iguana dude on the top branchy things
can't remember the names of these but they were all piled up on top of each other, was very cute!
then we went to the gift shop on the way out, saw they had little fishy kites for 2 quid so thought sod it, neither of us have flown a kite since we were about 10 so went to play in the park with it, was very very cool!!
