Well I am in possesion of a bit of excess money, and combined with my family redoing the carpets in one room (forcing me to move my fish tank) I figured now is a good time to upgrade. I have a 55 gallon now that houses
1 Gold Severum
1 Festivum (Selling)
1 Rainbow Cichlid (selling)
1 Calvus
3 Pictus cats
and I was looking to upgrade to either a 90 or 75 gallon and cant decide which. Both are 18" deep which is what i really wanted a new tank for, but the 90 is 4" higher. Im just trying to figure out if paying more for the 90 is worth it. It wont give me any more footprint but it will help with bioload. The fish I was planning on adding (rough list) are
2 more pictus cats
1 Firemouth
My question is would a 75 be fine for this bioload or would I need the 90? Also how many gallons should my filters be rated for? I have an emperor 400 biowheel, and was planning on adding a 330. Would that be adequate filtration?
