There is not a spec of colour on it (at the lfs). Was just wondering if this is common or not as I have not seen a 100% white platy before.

I never seen a pure white guppy with no other colouring in it.

I haven't seen an all white one but I've seen white ones with the mickey mouse markings and today I saw some at the lfs that they were calling "milk and ink spots platies". They were white with a light sprinkling of black spots.

Not seeen a pure white one about, but if I did I'd definantly get em!

I seen before. It is like a pingu guppy .But most that i saw were half white with red patches but one was pure white.

maybe it was a albino dalmation molly not a platy? :p
It is a black eye fish so not mollie and definately a swordtail.

it is white but some have spots

I used to have a white mickey mouse platy. I would imagine that it would be relatively easy to breed out the mickey mouse spots and have a pure white platy, but I've never seen one.

OhFeeshy you asked about the peppered platies, I have a ton of the Salt & Pepper platies. The fry seem to vary quite a bit in appearance. I prefer the ones that have a yellowish upper & whiteish lower body with small black spots kinda evenly dispused over their bodies. Some of the fry are completely spotless and some have so many spots that they amost appear entirely black. Fry body colors also vary from white to yellow, to orange. I would give some to you, but I don't know how one would go about shiping fish that far (across the atlantic) and keep them alive or getting them thru customs. I'm in New Hampshire, USA.
