Snails

Cut a thick slice of cucumber, weight it down in your tank in the evening before lights out. In the morning remove the cucumber with the rogue snails on it.

Repeat as necessary but never leave the same bit of cucumber in the tank for more than 12 hours :D

So simple it works

dont use chemicals if u can get a couple snail eating fish, loachs, puffers etc

and certainly don't buy fish to solve a problem like snails....buy fish because you want them.

remove carbon in filter and dose with esha snail control and treat again in 14 days to kill any of spring

lighten on your food you give your fish

remove as many as you can by hand and gravel vac before you med

snali eggs are coated in slimmy goo and makes it hard for you to scrape them off in tight places

all in all what i did is toatal strip down of tank

cheers dane

I agree!

and you should scoope them out and put htem in your garden as they appear simple, no chemicals, no $ spending, and nothing is harmed or needs to go through medication treatements

:)

you could always 'rent' the fish. keep them until the snails are gone.

I would agree that buying fish to solve a problem isn't the reason you should get a fish. That being said, the clown loach (the common fish to help fix this problem) in and of itself is an awesome fish to have. A little more details in your post would also be helpful.

God Bless,
Joshua
