dose anybody know of a snail that dosnt eat plants ?

Hi,

Apple snails won't eat plants as long as they are brigs. Cannas the larger apple snails can strip a tank of plants in a day. This site www.applesnail.net tells you how to distinguish the two. I have all brigs and my snail tanks are well planted. I also have a couple of spixis which do nibble plants but nothing too bad.

Nerite snails also don't eat plants and they are demons at getting algae off where even bristlenose plecs have failed
