I have tons upon tons of snails, mostly mts and ramshorn. Now excluding puffers, what is a good fish that stays pretty small that would eat them and be safe with small fish? I've heard Zebra Loaches eat snails and only get around 4 inches.....good choice?

go for clown loaches, ive had four no for around a year they were about 1 inch when i got them they are now around four, tey love snails and also gain good nutrients from them, i also feed them catfish pellets, about 10 per loach for a measure

a clown loach is about the biggest snail eater you can get for a tropical aquarium. despite how they are normally sold, they really need a large tank in excess of 100 gal and be in a shoal of at least 4-5. they are probably the worst choice for a snail eater b/c of that.

There are other loach species which are better for the average community sized aquarium. Pretty much every common loach species needs to kept in groups though of about 4+. Y. Sidthimunki aren't bad at ~2-2.5 inches normally. Botia striata (zebra loaches) are good in most community setups. They're peaceful and active.

Thanks i was hoping the Zebras would make a good choice. Going to pick up 3 or 4. With any luck within the next month i'll have a 155gal bowfront.

PS. Nattwalker your gonna need a huge tank if those clowns ever reach maturity.
