I'm looking for a small filter for a 10 to 15 litre sized tank that I plan to set up as a hospital/breeding tank (obviously not at same time).....does anyone know any good makes, and where I can get them from....or know if maybe goldfish bowl filters would work in a rectangular small tank??

Thankyouuu

I've got two fluval one's in the cuboard.
Pm me if you're interested.

A sponge filter is probably the best option, gentle flow so no danger to fish or fry.

A basic (and inexpensive) filtration set up:

A little bit of filter floss can be kept inside of many bigger filters and can be taken out and added to the box filter when the tank is needed for use. If it's a matter of a sick fish, after medication is completed, and the fish returned to its tank, the floss can be thrown away with no loss (since it cost so little) and the tank completely cleaned.

In the case of use as a breeding tank, a sponge filter can be attached instead of the box filter to keep the fry from being trapped.

:D
