I just moved my biggest most mature silver dollar, out of the bichir tank... by the coloring, it's probably a male... I thought likely my biggest tiger was the largest, until Input them side by side.... no fighting, but tiger is afraid, initially even though this is it's tank, so I'm not sure if the caution, is because the new fish is bigger, or a male... the jr. tigers are not significantly afraid... but only after a couple minutes, and they have joined forces... sorry , a reflection covers the big tigers head... this is the tank with no main light right now, but that will be fixed in a few days

these fish have gotten big... at one time most were together, back when they actually were the size of a dollar coin... this is a step, and giving me taste of what I'm wanting in the 250 gallon... I'm thinking a nice size shoal, of as many different species as I can, of silver dollars, leaving room for a special blue zebra lace angel, who loves to eat cardinal tetras , a specialty pleco, and likely a sting ray or two... many of these fish will make the transition to the bigger tank...

I'm glad they are all getting along this morning... next thing, will be to see if they trim the massive root ball in this tank... the fish that was in the 30 long, kept the roots trimmed back to the vine stems I'm guessing each species, as well as each individual has it's own tastes in that regard

I need to go in and trim up this jungle to install the new lighting, when it gets here ( this is the tank, that the pothos vine grew out of the cold air return vent, on the floor above the tanks ( which I think is kind of cool ) , so it's way past due for a hair cut...

spot, and the zebra lace angel, are still in the south American Tetra tank, but they will likely make the migration to the bigger tank as well...
