Do you mean the Bala Shark? Quite a few years, decades I think given how large they grow to.

Yes Silver/Bala Shark. I have had mine for 4/5 years and it is about 8in. Just wasn't sure how old they can get.

They can easily live up to 10 years, sometimes slightly longer.
