Came home from work yesterday to my 15 year old daughter saying 'Dad, Dad quick - one of the fishes has drowned'. 
What she was referring to was the fact that the plec who is about 1.5 inches had gone down the air tube and as it was faced down couldn't get out and was being bombarded with all the air bubbles.
For those of you who may not have seen this picture, which happens to show the opening he went into, I'll add it here
I eventually teased it out as he 'walked' out backwards using his fins from one side of the tube to the other.
Good job they breath air otherwise I might have had a drowned fish on my hands!!
Kids say the daftest things sometimes.
