i have a plastic ornament that broke and i put some silicone and fixed it, do i need to wash it its got a smell like vinegar or can i drop it right in the tank?

I just used some last night on a project and i'm going to wait 48 hours before I put it in water to make sure that is has set

I would give it at least 24hrs to cure. It is the aquarium safe stuff you can get at a lfs correct.

i know this sounds dumb but what do the instructions say?
