Thanks for your advice unfortunately i lost him he was the smallest and was being picked on by the others ive done a 50% water change and added kusuri wormer hopefully the others will be fine after treating
its a shame as i have had them from small fish and have been really carefull with waterchanges and other controls in the tank .
for info i use treated tap water as the water here is so soft and ph is constant from the tap at 6.5the fish were hatched right next door so only know the water perameters they are in

thought i had found the source but not ive now got one with big white spots on the fins and ive started a course of wormer (malachite green)can i introduce a treatment of whitespot treatment (meth blue)at the same time
other symptoms are rapid swimming in a circle with what appears like locked fins

I highly recommend you quarantine your sick fish and treat. :good:

obviously it is in quarantine and that wasnt really the question i was asking!!
can you treat two things at once safely is the question

No, I wouldnt be using those two treatments together at once, but Ialso probably wouldnt bother with the malachite, if the fish has a high enough parasite burden that it shows, you need a more...well... specific treatment. There are loads of 'antiparasite' treatments around but the only two likely to work will be Flubendazole (Discus Wormer) or Solupraz (which you wont likely be able to find or use in a tank with a filter as its used for bathing fish in).
