Woke up today to find one of my koi swordtails on the living room floor.

Strange thing is there is no way it could of got out, the lid is securely on the tank, the fish would of magically had to jump through a condensation lid and then through the hood to get out...

Strange one (calling in ghost hunters )

Rip little guy.

Have you got holes at the back of the hood for wires to go out?

:rip:

Well slap my ass and call vera - never noticed them buggers before lol, When i origianlly got the tank, the air tubes and lights etc was already thread so aint ever payed much attention to that, just lifted up the baclflap and yes, there they was 2 x 1" holes at either side

At least now i know, thanks m8, i will bung them up with some cloth.

It probably would better not to do that, that would stop quite a lot of air gettin in and out of tha tank.

Anything that will let air circulate and stop livstock escaping will do. Sponge sounds good but wouldn't it fill up with water because of condensation.
Suppose you've got a condensation tray, I dunno whatever works for you mesh or sponge it should be ok.

Sponge sounds easier, i will go with that, thanks guys :)
