Shall I Help My Egyptian Mouthbrooders?

Hello

I have 2 Egyptian Mouth brooders. A male and a female. They are staying really close together and are hanging around one corner of the tank. And seem to be, what looks like cleaning...the glass. As i am trying to breed them, shall i help them along by cleaning the bits of algae of the glass?
