Sexing Rtbs

i have one who is only small yet but of a very good colour. he/she has a white edge to the whole of the dorsal fin and some underneath fins (pectoral). also has a collection (3 to 5) of little darker black spots just behind the gills on the body. a friend of mine has one who s jet black (like mine) but without the darker spots and extra whiteness on the fins.its a definate colouring cos its not changed since i got it. (about 2 weeks, but its from the place where i work so ive bee watching it for ages)
just wondered if anyone knew?

You cant sex these fish untill their fully grown at about 4-5 inches.

The females get a plump belly and the males are slimmer.

This are the only way to sex these fish.

is that the only way? i looed it up on the internet and it said there is no definate way but the males have a slightly more pointed dorsal fin.
