hi,

I have a fluval tank for sale, 130L, about 80GAL (if I remember) for sale. The tank comes with a black cabinet, (in the fluval range its one of the deluxe ones) and a hood with two built in striplights.

The tank also has two external fluval filters, a 304 and a 204, all with original hoses and both with spray bars. I also have a hang on gravel hoover, two air pumps with stones and airline and two of those bubbly CO2 ladders. I also have a load of soaked bogwood, some nice peices of slate and a two inch gravel covering.

I have some smaller bits like nets, chemicals, test kits water treatments etc.

The thing is, do i sell the whole thing as one item, or do i try and sell the tank and the filters and other stuff seperatly?

The condition is good, its all worked flawlessly for 8 or 9 months, the filters are good as new, and the tank, stand and everything else is too.

I was hoping to get about 200 quid for the lot, do you think this is a reasonable price?

Should i stick it all on ebay as seperate items or put the whole thing on as one lot?

Thanks,

Pete.

i would sell as one whole item :good:

i brought a 120L tank from LFS for £139 which included filter, stand, a few artificial plants, heater ,conditioner, cycle, food, liquid plant food and by the time i brought gravel, some live plants, ornaments ect... it came to £195 but the deals they have around the country vary.its always a good idea to sell/buy as a lot as it would have more of a better chance of selling, this would give newbies and experienced the chance to bid which will increase your views and bids.

£200 for the lot???????????? Mmmmmm! i would personally put a reserve of just less than that on it as you dont want to give it up for too little but at the same time you dont want to put people off bidding
i would,if i was a protential buyer pay more than £200 for the amount of gear you have with it.
what you must try to understand is what people who are viewing are thinking, selling as a lot would save someone a great deal of time and effort and some money, as we all know how the cost of setting up always goes sky high.

sit down and work out how much it would cost someone to buy all this and then vary your start bidding just below your reserve do this to generate bids, take into account that some people will search the retail prices off all items

better still put in on the buy/sell part of this forum

aint been telling you what to do just a suggestion of how i would do it

good luck
