after me and brother looking all over the internet we finally found a rescue that will take our turtle :good:

a guy and his wife runs a reptile rescue and also have classes to educate the public bout reptiles and how to take care of them
i felt more comfortable giving him to a reptile rescue because people now a days dont know what it means to do research before getting any kind of pet from dogs all the way to fish and i just didnt wanna give him away to just any one and having him be treated worse and not being taken well care of we've had roy ever since he was a little guy so its gonna be sad giving him away
and its gonna be weird having no one to talk any more

so he leaves next weekend which my fish are singing "o happy day" :hyper:

Good job on finding him a better home. :)

that taking care of a turtle is a heck of a lot of work and NOT to take them out of their natural habbitat and KEEP THEM IN THE WILD!!!

I know a guy who took a turtle out of the water and kept it until it was HUGE!

I am not saying to find a turtle and keep it. The guy I knew kept it in a 200 gallon tank with a EXACT replica of its habitat. I think he was partially insane. :shifty:
