i added 1 tsp of salt per 5 gallons of water in my 55, 100, and 2 20's

I didn't even realize untill I was all done with the water change and added the salt.

will it hurt them?

Do I need to do water changes on the tanks ASAP? I'm about out of water conditioner....

I know 1 tablespoon is equal to about 3 teaspoons

So I don't need to do a water change right now?

I have one tank that is cycling

I don't really know much but the basics, this is the first time i've personally used aquarium salt.

it says 1 rounded tablespoonful for ever 5 u.s. gallons, or 1/2 rounded teaspoonful for ever u.s. gallons

that means I did 1 rounded teaspoonful for ever 5 u.s. gallons, that seems fine.

The fish seem to like it, and It should help with my case of ick in the 55 gallon

yeah I figured that,

I've never seem my ropefish so active, hes swimming around my 100 gallon like crazy, but he slammed into the end and then into the gravel and quit moving for 10 seconds, lol

thanks

a tsp (teaspoon) is smaller then a tbs (tablespoon), so infact you used to little salt.
