Sad Day, Cooked Fish

Sad, Sad, Sad....Just went to feed Mom's fish in her big tank only to find the temp in the tank was over 100deg and all the fish were cooked/dead. The f'in heater must be messed up and went full blast. Why the hell would a company even make a tank heater that goes that high. SOB

If the thermostat blows the heater will just keep on heating until you turn it off, cuz there's nothing to tell it to stop. It's not that the heater has a setting on it for 100 degrees!

If it helps I sympathise, mine did the same thing about 15months ago and I lost all my fish too only thing you can do is replace and restock.
